As a professional working women with children, I have relied upon the Breville Toaster Oven in the past in order to create gourmet and healthy meals, ranging from cooking fresh whole fish such as cod to whole, organic chicken with roasted vegetables, in a short amount of time or while multi-tasking (working-out after work, yet still meeting the health conscious and gourmet palet of my family's demands).

For a long period of time, I relied upon the Breville more than my regular oven becuase it pre-heated in less time, which, as a professional and mother, was essential to me. Not to mention the ease of cleaning...

However, it was time to replace the Breville, and I noticed that Frigidaire Professional was launching the same size, 6-Slice Convection Toaster oven at $100 less!

I took the risk: purchased the new product, and, have been even more elated with this decision. For example, Frigidaire accounts for both the pre-heat time and cooking time: therefore, I can arrive at home, put the whole fish in the oven, adjust the easy settings that any person in a rush may use thanks to the LCD settings, go work out, and have a perfectly cooked fish (and, then throw the pans in the oven for easy cleaning!).

Also, I did an experiment in which I roasted rosemary potatoes in both the Breville and in the Fridgidarie: the same quality of potatoes over-cooked in the Breville (because I put them in the oven at the same time as I did in the Fridgidaire) due to its lack of incorporation of the preheat option.

In contrast, the potates cooked perfectly in the Frigidaire.

So, I concluded that Frigidaire's functionality surpasses the Breville.

Second, the aesthetics: in contrast to the first reviewer, I find the Fridgidaire to be even more professional and beautiful in appearance than the Breville.

To me, the professional look, in stainless steel, gives confidence to my own cooking abilities. This, in conjunction with the other small domestic products recently produced by Frigidaire Professional, creates an entire family of professional, stainless-steel aesthetical appear on a domestic scale, such that I am proud to display the oven on my countertop when entertaining guests.

In sum, for $100 less, the facts that Frigidaire's functionality surpasses the Breville (which I have owned for some time!) and that the familial, professional aesthetic appeal of the Fridgidaire toaster oven is alluring, make me recommend this oven with five stars...

I also plan to acquire all of the Fridgidaire small appliances to complete the family look, especially now that I have full confidence in the toaster convection oven based on my experiments and high-standards.

The Frigidaire Professional Convection Toaster Oven is an essential kitchen appliance. I love this product because of it's beautiful stainless steel professional appearance and it's efficiency in cooking perfection. I used it instead of my convectional oven because i don't have to wait for it to pre-heat (unlike the breville which is more expensive).

PROS:
1. LCD display is very easy to read.
2. Temperature and functions are easy to set
3. Convection feature is ver quite
4. Infrared cooking technology insure cooking perfection
5. The large stainless steel handle is easy to grab and open, and stays cool to the touch
6. Beautiful look
7. It fits a 12" inch pizza
8. Energy efficient
9. Versatile function provided for spontaneity in cooking (my 6 years old loves the cookies I make with this appliance)
10. Great value for money

CONS:
1. I would have preferred to have two wire racks instead of the aluminum pizza pan because I put the pizza straight on the rack

Final verdict.... This is an easy 5 stars - purchase with confidence.
